Emotional Intelligence in Construction

Often people consider emotional intelligence (E.I.) the “soft skill” that we need only apply in certain situations and in certain environments. Emotional intelligence has just as much of a role to play in construction as it does in office environments. Emotional intelligence is the key to success in any organization and across all types of environments. It is connected to how successful a leader is and as a result, how successful and profitable a company will be. The research is sound: E.I. is more important than your IQ or even the technical knowledge you have in your job as leader.

This one-day workshop will help participants understand what E.I. is and why it is so important in their role as leader. Participants will have the opportunity to fill out the EQi2.0 questionnaire and receive a detailed report assessing their emotional intelligence.
