Gold Seal Certification
The Gold Seal Certification program, operated by the Canadian Construction Association, is offered through the Winnipeg Construction Association. This program provides a nationally recognized certification for construction estimators, superintendents, construction safety coordinators, and project managers.
Certification is based on the candidate’s education and experience. The Gold Seal Certificate is a declaration of skill and competence that is recognized by the construction industry across the country. The Certificate will enhance mobility and professional development of construction managers.
The Gold Seal Certificate was developed by the industry for the industry and is a voluntary certification program for the individual. The GS Certification signifies that the individual has attained a nationally recognized level of experience and competence as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Estimator or Owners’ Project Managers.
Those interested in pursuing Gold Seal are asked to visit the CCA / Gold Seal Web site and to obtain the applications and guidelines at www.goldsealcertification.com. The completed applications are to be submitted to the Winnipeg Construction Association. WCA will gladly assist members in completing their applications.

application deadline to WCA offices is: September 17, 2010.
REMINDER: Due to the recent changes in the examination requirements, all automatic eligibilities for CSO, CEC and PQS applicants will expire on December 31, 2009. If you hold one of these 3 designations and are interested in challenging the appropriate Gold Seal exam, applications MUST BE SUBMITTED to your local construction association by
